Amplid was founded by ex Burton head designer, Mr Peter Bauer, who wanted to move away from the mass market and create a brand that was all about us, the rider.
Launched in 2005, Amplids philosophy is to create a product that is everything you expect, but deliver it in a way that you are not used to. In other words, Amplid are creating products that are totally cutting edge, unique, and completely different to the "off the shelf" snowboard and ski products you see everywhere else in this industry, and what a refreshing change that is to see!
